This page explains how to delete the data Silma stores about you, including data we access from your Instagram account through Meta's Instagram Graph API. You can request deletion at any time using any of the methods below. For our full data practices, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Disconnect Instagram in the app. Open Silma, go to your content view, and choose Disconnect on your connected Instagram account. This immediately deletes the stored access token, your Instagram insights, and the patterns derived from them. You can reconnect later if you change your mind.
2. Remove Silma from Instagram. In the Instagram app, go to Settings → Apps and websites, find Silma, and remove it. Meta then notifies us automatically, and we delete your stored Instagram insights and access token. You can confirm the request on the status page Meta shows you afterward.
3. Delete your entire account. To remove all of your Silma data, email support@silma.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete your account. We delete all personal data within 30 days, except records we are required to retain by law (such as billing records).
Disconnecting in the app takes effect right away. Deletion requests received through Meta or by email are processed promptly and completed within 30 days. If you submit a request through Meta, the confirmation link Meta shows you will report that the deletion was received and completed.
